La Serena is a small, popular spa and resort town in the desert.

Scooby-Doo! Legend Of The Phantosaur
It was certified by the U.S. Bureau of Supernatural Forces to be the "least haunted town in America." Of course that didn't stop it from having trouble with Phantosaurs while the gang was there.

- A tourist town that prides itself on having no ghosts is the opposite of Crystal Cove. Even the phrase describing Crystal Cove as "The Most Hauntedest Place on Earth" is the exact opposite of "The Least Haunted Town in America".
