Early life

According to Crawdad Mike, the Leland Brothers were on opposite sides in the American Civil War and they hated each other so much that they fought a duel in the New Orleans graveyard, killing each other. Even though they were dead, the Leland Brothers continue to fight each other as ghosts.

What's New, Scooby-Doo?

Season one

Crawdad Mike and his bus driver ran ghost tours in New Orleans. They were unmasked as the ghosts of Jed and Caleb Leland. They created the ghosts in two ways: as holograms projected from a tree in a graveyard when a pressure switch was triggered, and as actual disguises. (Big Scare in the Big Easy)
