  Lena Dupree was an employee at a Louisiana plantation house on a place called Moonscar Island, named afterTemplate:Real Monster/Fake Monster Infobox the pirate Morgan Moonscar who was said to have died on the island. Lena and her employer, Simone Lenoir, who owned the plantation, were transformed into cat creatures as a curse for a happening 200 years earlier. Lena lured visitors to the island in various manners where they would be trapped. At midnight, the unlucky visitors would be drawn into a chamber underneath the house where their souls would be drained by Simone and Lena, turning them into zombies. The souls would then be used to preserve Simone and Lena's immortality.
