Lennie Weinrib was an American screen and voice actor, director and writer. He is best known for playing the title role in the children's television show H.R. Pufnstuf, as well as the title role in Inch High, Private Eye, and the original voice of Scrappy-Doo on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (first series). In later years, he played Freddy Flintstone on the first season of The Flintstone Kids; he was replaced by Scott Menville.

He retired in 1994 and died on June 28, 2006 due to a stroke.
