Lester is a landscape artist and alien abductee who lives in the Roswell, New Mexico area. He is a local patron of Sergio's Diner.
Physical appearance[]
Lester is an elderly man with gray shoulder-length hair and sideburns sticking out of a brown hat which has a red band around it. He wears a bright red waistcoat and a white buttoned shirt tucked into brown pants, and sandals.
Personality[]
Lester appears as a slightly eccentric and paranoid man with an upbeat personality. He is prone to shouting in order to prove his point to others, especially in account that aliens will take over Earth. Despite this, he's also friendly and hospitable, as he offers the gang to stay in his place for the night, although he takes no tolerance on Scooby and Shaggy touching his possessions.
History[]
Early life[]
He raised a family, which had since moved away. At some point, he was in Scorpion Ridge one night and was abducted by Aliens, who interrogated and "experimented" on him before waking up the next morning outside his home.
Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders[]
When Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo burst through Sergio's Diner claiming to have seen aliens, Lester explains to the gang about his prior experience with them before inviting them to his home that he has pictures as proof.
The gang visited his home to have a look at his pictures but these turned out to be just be his landscape paintings. The walls were plastered with paintings of aliens and models of aliens and spaceships. Since the gang had no place to stay and since there was no hotel in the area, he offered them to stay in his home for the night. He gave Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley a small room with a bunk bed and gave Fred Jones a sofa. Shaggy and Scooby slept on the roof, where they were eventually kidnapped by the supposed aliens.
The next morning, Lester, Daphne, Fred, and Velma returned to the diner to have breakfast, when Shaggy and Scooby met up with them after Crystal dropped them off and were not hungry. As Shaggy and Scooby told him and the gang about their abduction from the aliens Lester asked them if they were "experimented" on.
Later on he took Fred, Daphne, and Velma out to Scorpion Ridge in his painting truck to investigate in the canyon for clues.
That night, when the SALF crew was arrested he was surprised that there were no real aliens and he took the police to his house to show them the "Pictures" of the aliens for proof.

Notes/trivia[]
- Lester can be considered to be quite "analogous" to Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island character Snakebite Scruggs, having similarities in physical appearance and clothing, but differences in their personalities (Lester is crazed but friendly and approachable, whereas Snakebite is antisocial, arrogant and reclusive).
