Lisa Vanhoff is a young hotel heiress, and friend of Daphne Blake.
Lisa is an attractive Caucasian female in her late teens, with shoulder-length blonde hair that is parted in the middle, and brown eyes. Lisa primarily wears a pink turtleneck sweater, dark pink, flared jeans, red shoes and pink lipstick. At night, she wears a long, pink, short-sleeved nightgown.
Lisa is kind and generous, as shown when she offers her own room to Daphne and Velma Dinkley, feeling that their's is too small, and buying hamburgers for her friends to thank them for their help. Lisa is also apparently a competent business-woman, given that she was to run the hotel upon turning eighteen. She had a close relationship with her uncle, Leon, viewing him as her father, and was shocked when she discovered he'd been trying to trick her into believing she was a vampire so as to keep the hotel under his control.
The Scooby-Doo Show
Lisa was about to turn eighteen and invited Daphne and the rest of Mystery Inc. to the hotel to celebrate. However, things went awry when a vampire began terrorizing the guests, targeting Lisa. Leon claimed that the vampire was her grandfather, supposedly come back from the dead, and that he wanted to turn Lisa into a vampire, too. Lisa stayed with Shaggy Rogers, Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum whilst the others searched for the vampire. The vampire called Lisa on the phone and used alarm bells to hypnotise her, causing her to believe she's a vampire and attack her friends. The vampire then instructed Lisa to lay down to sleep in one of the hotel's numerous coffins. Mystery Inc. woke her up after the vampire left, and Lisa had no memory of what occurred, saying the last thing she could recall was the sound of bells. After capturing the vampire, Lisa was shocked when Mystery Inc. unmasked him as her own uncle. Leon, as it turned out, wanted to trick Lisa into believing she was a vampire so that she would be institionalised, and he could stay in control of the hotel. After Leon was taken away by the authorities, Lisa bought several giant-sized hamburgers for the gang, to thank them for solving the mystery.
- It can be assumed that Lisa's parents died when she was a baby, as she states that her uncle raised her.
