Madelyn Dinkley is a student at the Whirlen Merlin's Academy of Magic, and the younger sister of Velma. She has a crush on Velma's friend, Shaggy Rogers.
Physical appearance
Madelyn looks similar to her big sister except, she wears bigger glasses and is a bit shorter. She has brown hair styled in pigtails. Her outfit consists of a pink dress, a white long-sleeve button-up shirt, purple leggings, and pink formal shoes.
Personality
Madelyn's persona is somewhat different from Velma's. For example, Madelyn seems more extroverted, while Velma is more introverted.
History
Early life
Her nickname in high school was "Doe Eyes Dinkley" according to Shaggy. Velma mentioned briefly that Madelyn had been in clown college for a semester.
Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo
The gang visited her upon request by Mrs. Dinkley to check up on her at her magic school.

- Madelyn's interest in Shaggy may have been the basis for the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated version of her sister.
- A running gag throughout the adventure, is that she tries to get Shaggy to notice her.
- Despite being Velma's younger sister, in Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy Velma's referred to being the youngest. Not to mention she does not appear nor is she mentioned.
