The Man-Crab, a giant crab monster, was the disguise of Bud Shelton. As the Man-Crab he terrorized Crystal Cove's beach.

Physical appearance

A crab standing on two undersized feet and an undersized left arm compared to its right one; an enormous claw.

He has the ability to tunnel underground using a system under the beach and has great physical strength.

During a volleyball tournament the Man-Crab attacked those who were present and kidnapped Daphne Blake. The remaining members of the gang receive an old newspaper article from Mr. E about four kids who disappeared in the Crystal Cove caves many years prior, and where the Man-Crab had taken Daphne. The gang managed to capture the Man-Crab and to save Daphne. The Man-Crab was revealed to be Bud Shelton who wanted to ruin Peter Trickell' volleyball tournament for taking credit for Shelton's invention. (Revenge Of The Man Crab)

A Man-Crab look-a-like made an appearance in the film Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon.
