Matthew Lyn Lillard is an American producer, film and television actor and voice artist. He is credited with 58 appearances as well as 35 other personal appearances on TV and radio to date. Lillard is currently working on the lead for Shrinking Charlotte, and is set to produce his third film, Adrenaline, in 2011.
Lillard lived with his younger sister Amy and parents in Tustin, California, from first grade to high school graduation. He briefly attended Fullerton College's theater department in Fullerton, California, and went on to attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California, and later the New York theater school Circle in the Square.
His first professional acting role was during the summer after his high school graduation, when he was hired as an extra for Ghoulies. He was the MC of the children's show SK8 TV on Nickelodeon in 1990. Many of his roles have been either typically as eccentric or disturbed characters. Lillard also appeared in a Kevin Branagh's Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost in 2000.
Lillard was awarded Best actor at the Argentinian Mar del Plata Film Festival for his part as Stevo in SLC Plunk (1998), and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004).
