Mieczysław Gajda is a Polish theatre, television and voice over actor. He has been active in the industry since the 1950's and is known for voicing Scrappy-Doo in the 1988 Polish VHS versions of The first, second and third incarnations of the show involving him. Unlike later interpretations of the character, which based the voice on the American version, Gajda performed Scrappy as a high pitch sounding puppy. Other roles include Brainy Smurf from The Smurfs, Looney Tunes' Daffy Duck, Benny the Ball from Top Cat, and Yogi Bear.
