His circus was in trouble because it was menaced by a hypnotic ghost clown, who was actually Harry the Hypnotist out for revenge against Mr. Barnstorm for firing him for stealing and sending him to prison. The gang was able to catch the Ghost Clown, and save Mr. Barnstorm's circus.
