He pretends to hate comics and only doing the business for the money he makes for them overcharging his customers. He comes clean and tells his true nature that he loves comics and can't live without them, despite being a 55-year-old man.

He was a possible suspect to be Dr. Croaker, but he was innocent. He claimed that he wasn't into comics, and was only in the business for money.
