Mr. Dayton was the Coolsonian Museum curator.

Physical appearance[]

Mr. Dayton is a short middle-aged man, with curly gray hair, a 5 o'clock shadow, and a mustache. He wears green pants, an orange vest over a white button-down shirt and a green tie.

Personality[]

He seemed to be very strict about what goes on, being the curator of the museum; especially when demanding to know if Mr. Thornsby found the swords. His true nature being greedy and selfish was uncovered when he was unmasked as the Samurai Ghost. Despite dressing up as a Japanese ghost, he failed to understand the language.

Season one[]

Mr

Mr. Dayton unmasked.

He dressed up as the Samurai Ghost to steal the museum's swords, making it look like they were already stolen, and threatened to fire Mr. Thornsby if they were never recovered before his "vacation". It was revealed that he wanted to make a million bucks off the insurance policy of the swords for himself at some point when it was also discovered he was really going on a one-way flight trip, and he was going to fire Thornsby thereafter. He also unintentionally framed Shaggy and Scooby for the theft in order to cover up his tracks. Thornsby then proceeded to take Dayton off to the police station.
