Mr. Rathbone is an adult man with an average build and blond, flat-top hair. He wore a green turtleneck while his lower half is hidden underneath a table.

He seemed serious about himself not being the ghost.

He dressed up as the Ghost of One-Eyed Jack and haunted a ship for unknown reasons.
He, alongside two other crew members were brought into a room on the ship by the gang to sign their names on papers saying they weren't posing as the ghost, Mr. Rathbone turned out to be responsible do to the fact that the ghost was carrying a sword with it's left hand, while the real person was actually right-handed, and Mr. Rathbone just happened to be the only person on the ship to be left-handed.
