The Meddling Demons were a set of Hollywood extras impersonating the gang, led by N'Sync star J.C. Chasez disguised as Scooby-Doo. Chasez was trying to get rid of Shaggy Rogers because he was jealous that his girlfriend Rachel was always talking about Shaggy's exploits.
