The Mystery Inc. evil clones were a set of Hollywood extras impersonating the gang, led by J.C. Chasez (disguised as Scooby-Doo). Chasez was trying to get rid of Shaggy Rogers because he was jealous that his girlfriend Rachel was always talking about Shaggy's exploits.

- Each of the extras playing the other Mystery Inc. members are animated cameos of the real actors who voice the group in the show. From left to right in the image above they are Grey DeLisle (Daphne Blake), Frank Welker (Fred Jones), Mindy Cohn (Velma Dinkley), and Casey Kasem (Shaggy Rogers). The only exception is J.C. Chasez, who was wearing a Scooby-Doo mask.
