Neville Poppenbacher is the well-known manufacturer of Poppenbacher's Popcorn.

Physical appearance[]

He is an adult man with short light brown hair. He has glasses and a mustache, but only on the popcorn containers. As Farmer P., he wore a brown farmer's hat with a black streak on it, which covered his hair, blue farmer overalls, and a gray shirt.

Personality[]

He came up with an unconvincing alias of Farmer P. to trick the gang, which worked anyway. He was conniving and jealous in attempting to steal from a rival popcorn maker to make his business better. His attacks also could have caused serious harm to those involved, and scared off all but one of Mr. B's farmhands, indicating a ruthless side of his personality.

Season two[]

Farmer P

Neville as Farmer P.

He dressed up like the Demon Farmer to steal the codes from the Secret Six, so he could get inside Mr. B's lab and steal Jonas Sulk's popcorn-on-the-cob prototype. He also stole Jonas's tractor to scare off the other farmhands. He was also disguised as Farmer P. when he met Mystery Inc. at the farm and pretended to be a neighbor of Mr. B. It is later implied that he was forced to return the tractor back to Jonas after he was unmasked.

Notes/trivia[]

  • Neville Poppenbacher is unique among villains, as his true identity is actually a disguise in itself, and his alter ego was actually closer to his regular self.
  • He is a parody of Orville Redenbacher, an American businessman who created the popcorn brand that bears his name. Ironically, while Poppenbacher-brand popcorn is considered bad, the real-life Redenbacher-brand popcorn is actually the #1 best-selling brand of popcorn in the world.
