Scooby-Doo! (DC Comics)
He stole an original Poe manuscript from Durant's collection and hid it in a card rack to be removed later. He used the disguise (inspired by the culprit of the Poe story Murders in the Rue Morgue) to scare away the gang. (The Purloined Poe-M)
