The park ranger works in the forest around the Zatari Caverns.

Physical appearance[]

The park ranger is a tall Caucasian male with black eyes and white hair, with a full white beard. He wears a park ranger's uniform that consists of tan shorts and matching tan shirt with park ranger patches on the sleeves. He also wears knee high white socks, hiking shoes, and a wide brimmed park ranger style hat.

Personality[]

The park ranger grows irate at anyone's failure to comply with rules, but easily accepts explanations for what is going on and ultimately encourages the activity in question. This resulted in him being unusually lenient when letting the gang investigate the Zatari Caverns.

History[]

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo![]

When the gang went to investigate Chuck Mangum's disappearance at the Zatari Caverns, the park ranger demanded to know why they were in the park after dark. After Fred explained that they were trying to find his friend, the ranger insisted that they go into the caverns. Though he initially protested that Scooby-Doo was not on a leash, he dismissed the issue after Shaggy said that he didn't need one. Later, he rappelled down to Fred in the caverns to suggest that they needed to leave but again relented upon hearing that Chuck had yet to be found. When the gang captured the Spirit of the Zatari Warrior and revealed him to be Chuck, the park ranger admitted that he had no clue what was going on. Though he initially told Chuck that he would be "going away for a long time," the ranger quickly contradicted himself to say that Chuck would not actually be going away for too long.
