Patrick met Velma and the gang at the opening night of the costume exhibit and asked Velma if she wanted to go on a date with him, but she had a nervous overload and came up with an excuse to escape the conversation. He was later devastated by the sight of his museum having been robbed, and after a few outbursts he was thought to be the villain behind all of it. He turned out not to be the one, and celebrated with Velma and the rest of the citizens of Coolsville at the Faux Ghost.
