The Phantom of the Chicago Opera house was a similar disguise used by five different people for independent reasons.
Physical appearance
He has a green skull-like face with wisps of hair sticking out.
If a someone who is obese wears a corset under the Phantom's suit, to make him look thin and in shape. The the only two who used it was Mel Richmond and Lance Damon
Personality
He acted ruthlessly, and had a maniacal cackle.
Skills and abilities
Some of the Phantoms had great athletic and rope-swinging skills. One had prepared vanishing tricks using stage magic, and another by tampering with a security monitor.
