Professor Pomfrit is a teacher who used a monster legend to frame Shaggy because he wanted to be richer than Dr. Onodera. He created the Shaggyzilla to be more famous. He apologized to Velma that he tried to frame Shaggy for the crime and Pomfrit was sent to jail.
