Dr. Rick Yantz is a biology teacher at Crystal Cove High School. He loves cicadas and hates the Destroido company, which he calls the biggest polluter in Crystal Cove.
His good looks cause friction between Fred and Daphne, and Fred starts to suspect him of being the Cicada Creature. (He turns out to be innocent, however).
