The gang wanted to lure out the Phantom to be caught in a trap, and wanted to use Scooby-Doo (disguised as a human) as bait. They got Scooby dressed up, but he refused to go any further, so Fred Jones tried and failed to get Scooby brave by telling him to be like Rin Din Din.[1]

- Rin Din Din is a reference to Rin Tin Tin, a famous movie star dog in the early 20th Century.
