Rip Bannon was a young Hollywood actor until an accident on set had scarred his chin, causing him to end his career in acting because he thought his 'disfigurement' had ruined his chances in any lead roles.
Ironically, he later reappeared working as a security guard at a film studio under the alias, Old Pete.
