Rue Bernard was a cheerleader trainer for the Dragons basketball team, with ambitions to become the head trainer instead. She dressed up as the Mascot Monster to kidnap key player Wings Malone, in hopes of spoiling the team and getting Coach Nelvin fired. Then she would be able to move up.
