Samson the Strongman was a member of the circus that the gang met before heading to the circus. He appeared in the Scooby-Doo Where Are You? episode Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Bedlam in the Big Top
- He met the gang, while riding a tandem bike, that split in half, and he ended up hanging from a tree branch at the side of the road. His partner Max the Midget ends up safely on Scooby's back. Max said that the circus was jinxed.
