The Samurai Ghost was the disguise of Mr. Dayton, the Coolsville museum curator.

Physical appearance[]

The costume made him appear much larger, and it was operated by levers from inside. He has red skin, yellow eyes, white hair tied to a ponytail, wears a grey kimono and a black bandana on his head.

Personality[]

He says, "Hi-ya!", like a person would say in a fight. When Velma spoke Japanese, the ghost couldn't understand her.

Powers[]

When the ghost took the swords, he appears to fly away.

Mr. Dayton based it on the story of evil samurai warlord, Lord Asakari. He dressed up as the Samurai Ghost so he could steal the swords, as he had taken out an insurance policy on them that was appraised at $1,000,000. The costume made him appear much larger, and it was operated by levers from inside.
