Scooby-Doo! and You: The Case of the Spinning Spider is a children's book in the Scooby-Doo! and You: A Collect the Clues Mystery series published by Scholastic.


The Scooby gang stumbles into a web of suspense when they try to solve this creepy crawly mystery. A zoo director suspects trouble at the opening of a new insect exhibit and he invites Velma and her friends to keep an eye out for trouble. Events spin out of control as a giant spider makes his many-legged mark on the event. Can the gang find out who is behind this hairy scary spider before it's too late?

Mr. Dexter He wanted to buy two of Dr. North's own very special spiders.


Culprit Motive/reason
Mr. Dexter operating the Giant Spider To scare people away from the Insectarium at the zoo long enough to kidnap all the spiders in the spider exhibit.
