Crashed Mystery Machine (State Farm)

Scooby-Doo is the first of three State Farm commercials based on Hanna-Barbera's Saturday morning Scooby-Doo franchise. It originally aired on October 26, 2013 on NBC, during Saturday Night Live.[1] It was directed by Tony Cervone.[2]

Premise

Mystery Inc. has a run-in with the Creeper, while on the road, causing them to crash.

Synopsis

While driving the Mystery Machine down a dirt road, Mystery Inc. are shocked to see the Creeper jump out in front of them, forcing Fred drive off the road; the van is totaled. Shaggy asks what what they'll do now, but Velma knows what to do, and says, "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there". Suddenly, a State Farm lady named appears, telling the gang she'll handle it. Fred then unmasks the Creeper as Mr. Carswell, who says the "Meddling kids" line, and Scooby laughs.
