Scott McDoon is the captain of the cruise ship, S.S. Casey,[1] and Fred Jones's cousin.
Physical appearance
Scott is a tall, fit Caucasian male, with reddish brown hair. As he became more grizzled throughout the sea creature case, he grew long hair and a beard, some of his teeth became black, and started wearing an eye-patch and a hook. Once the case was solved, he reverted to normal.[1]
Personality
Although Scott and Fred seem to have a good relationship, the former teases the latter a little about how their dreams have turned out, with Fred owning a "spooky van."[1]
Having spent a considerable amount of time at sea, Scott become increasingly pirate-like, or as Velma Dinkley put it, "prematurely grizzled." Once the case was over, he was able to relax.[1]
