Shannon Lucas was a celebrated astronaut. She was the pilot of the Sly Star One's maiden voyage into space.

Physical appearance[]

Shannon is a woman, with long wavy red hair, and green eyes. She has an athletic build. When she is in space, she wears a dark gray space suit. When training she wears a green tank top exposing her midriff, navy blue shorts with white stripes, white wrist sweatbands, shin-length socks, and matching green sneakers.

Personality[]

Shannon planned everything meticulously, and this included manipulating people into doing what she wanted. She acted friendly to everyone, but not equally, and liked to flaunt her abilities. She is also very sadistic and greedy as she left everyone on the Moon to die, just for fame and money.

Shannon almost destroyed Velma Dinkley and Daphne Blake's friendship by switching the names on their tests (it was really Shaggy who scored the highest) and caused Velma to say harsh things to Daphne.

Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness[]

Shannon Lucas unmasked

Shannon unmasked.

She met the gang when they were finished putting on their space suits, and easily befriended Daphne, making Velma extremely resentful (one, because Daphne beat Velma in the tests, and two, because Daphne and Velma were best friends).

While taking off, Daphne and Shannon started looking at the stars, with the latter congratulating the former on winning the tests, while an envious Velma eavesdropped.

During the flight, the alien started attacking the spaceship, wreaking havoc. The Sly Star One was forced to land on Sly Baron's moon resort, Sly Moon Prime.

Shannon was then revealed to be the true culprit; it was also revealed that Shaggy got the highest score, as opposed to Velma or Daphne, which surprised everyone (especially Velma and Shaggy). Shannon planned the entire scheme to first prove that only experts could go into space, thinking that it was unfair for Sly to make space travel available for everyone, and then to blow up the base, in order to become even more rich and famous. Shannon then locked everyone in the base, which was about to self destruct, and flew back to Earth.

Back on Earth, Shannon pretended to be brokenhearted and lied to everyone, claiming that the others died and she was right about space travel being too dangerous for untrained experts like her. Just then, the survivors arrived and exposed Shannon as the true culprit by playing the tape of her confession. Shannon was then arrested.
