Re: How Important is the Star Wars comparison? Edit

I'd say just as "important" as the Big Ben chiming. At the end of the day, it's just trivia. It may well have been inspired by Scooby-Doo. It's just interesting to note/know, just as all trivia is. Personally I'd leave it in.

After having seen it again, I'd say there's nothing really strikingly similar, except for the fact that there are walls closing in on them, which a lot of people have done. The sound of the chiming clock being identical to Big Ben, though, is something that is at least noteworthy. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 03:07, March 11, 2015 (UTC)

Music player Edit

I know what the music player is that Shaggy turns on when he and Scooby dance with the ghosts, but I don't know the name. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 10:18, April 10, 2015 (UTC)

Colonel Sanders Edit

Does anybody think Colonel Sanders is based on KFC colonel? -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 00:11, February 2, 2016 (UTC)

Possibly, but KFC was relatively new when this episode was mained- its rapid expansion had begun since the 50s though. There's not a massive similarity between the likenesses of Harland Sanders and the one from this ep though, in my opinion. RavenclawDBS (MCKA DevilboyScooby) 18:07, February 2, 2016 (UTC)
What seems to make this a possibility, is that it was alluded to in Where There's a Will, There's a Wraith, where Colonel William Lutz was the owner of Colonel Jerkey. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 18:37, February 2, 2016 (UTC)
It may have been retconning though; there weren't too many subtle outside references like that in early SDWAY!...just outright namedropping (or appearances, in TNSDM) RavenclawDBS (MCKA DevilboyScooby) 19:16, February 2, 2016 (UTC)
