Birthday[]
A user claims the stated birthday is incorrect. According to her IMDb biography, her birthday is February 20, 1967. The bio is provided by the user AVO Talent. AVO Talent is the agency that represents Soucie. Since her own agency says it's 2/20, and IMDb does go through a verification process for such things, it stays as is unless a more official source can be found.--User talk:Dpugh520 14:29, 18 September 2022
I suspect you are probably right. 1967 is the most likely, but some of the work she would have done aged 13 or so seems unusual. Unfortunately, actors are known to change their birthday to make them appear younger to casting agents. A striking example is Natalie Schafer (from Gilligan's Island) who claimed her YOB was 1912 when it was actually 1900. That's the sort of difference were looking at here. Also anyone can change a DOB is IMDB - I could change it to 1920 today if I wanted. And the only checking is like Wikipedia or here where "experts" spot something they think needs changing. I can assure you the 1967 birth year is not the correct one. Before becoming a voice actor, Soucie was in a TV movie called The Incredible Journey Of Doctor Meg Laurel. In it she played a mother that gave birth to a baby. This was released in early 1979. So if she were born in 1967, she would have been only 11 at the time which is why her being born in 1967 is incredibly dubious. Here's a clip of it.

A lot of websites are quoting 1967, but that's only because they're getting it from other sites. A lot of sites tend to web scrape without doing any fact checking. This kind of stuff has happened not with just other voice actors, but famous Hollywood celebrities as well.(IE Jason Staham, Rebel Wilson, Laverne Cox just to name a few) And pay no attention to the other user. I've come across him spamming the same comments on other wikis that have a page for Kath Soucie. He's trying to use IMDB as a source, yet over at Jennifer Hale's page at the Disney wiki, he's still trying to insist that she was born in 1972 when her IMDB page had 1965 listed for some time now.(Zeptron1984 (talk) 13:39, 22 September 2022 (UTC))
