It may be his actual name. Once near the end Shaggy calls him by it and he doesn't say, "That's not my name." --RockSunner 23:52, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

He's called "grumpy old grumper" at least twice and also "Mr. Grumper", but think about it guys, he's grumpy and they're giving him names that refer to his personality. I honestly don't think he was born with any of these names, they're just playful nicknames. Like when someone refers to a particular person as "Mr. Personality" or "Mr. Congeniality", that's not actually their name, it's just a reference to who they are. So I suggest maybe renaming it to "Splitsonian Institute guard" since he was the only real one there or "Grumpy Splitsonian Institute guard" to avoid the possible confusion with the memory that there was an undercover one. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible 02:38, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
It's probably a nickname, but he let it stick when Shaggy called him that to his face. I think we could leave it as is, just like the "Scare Pair." A good nickname given in the show is better than an anonymous tag for a character. --RockSunner 13:28, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
