The Shadow Knows is a story in Scooby-Doo! #88 by DC Comics.
Premise
The gang is called in to investigate a ghost haunting an old inn and Shaggy uses the case to enhance his photo album. But his new hobby takes a picture of the ghost putting on his costume. Even though they cannot see the face, the silhouette of the person gives it away as they expose the groundskeeper of 20 years.
