He dropped historical artifacts in the lava of Vesuvius to make it easier for them to do new construction, and dressed up as the Zombie Gladiator to scare people away. He had hired Captain Guzman to be a spy, working for the Scungimondo Corporation. Later, their plan was uncovered and they were arrested. (Pompeii and Circumstance)
