Notes/trivia
- The episode title is a play on the titles "uncle and aunt" so it sounds like "Uncle Scooby and Aunt Arctica".
- "Uncle Scooby" was also an affectionate nickname, his nephew, Scrappy-Doo, called him.
- The Mystery Machine does not appear.
Miscellaneous
- Disguises: Shaggy and Scooby as octupuses; gang and Little Pete as snowmen.
Cultural references
- Armand Zola is a reference to the Marvel comic book villain, Arnim Zola, who transfers his mind between robotic bodies to avoid death.
Animation mistakes and/or technical glitches
- When Fred finishes his explanation of the trap, Daphne's arms are missing.
Inconsistencies/continuity errors and/or goofs/oddities
- The zoo would likely be in Coolsville, but that isn't explicitly established.
- In closed captioning, Zelig is called "Zella".

- Since all of the notable staff of the station had left by the end of the episode, it's unknown if it closed down. Given what Zola wanted to do, it's implied, but not outright stated, that the station was only there to further his own personal ends.
- In closed captioning, Zelig is called "Zella".
