I have observed the posted debate between User:FanOfCountry and User:Anythingspossibleforapossible about when information about characters can be put together and when it cannot. I dislike how only the Fan's point-of-view can be seen (since the other talk page with points by Possible has been closed down). I would like to contribute my own ideas, and see what others think.
The continuity divide is strong with the two live-action movie series, but most of the other animated movies, TV series, and comic books are relatively compatible (not Scooby Goes Hollywood, Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Get a Clue, and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated however).

Since we often make sweeping changes that are tedious to do by hand, I wondered if anyone has looked into using tools like bots or the AutoWiki browser to automate or partially automate such changes.
