As a Scooby Doo fan, I'm sure everybody on here already knows about Scooby Doo! 13 Spooky Tales Run for Your Rife! (September 10th) and Scooby Doo! 13 Spooky Tales Ruh Roh Robot! (September 24th...only two weeks later!!!) I have to say, I'm very thrileld that we're not only getting one, but two new SD releases. Warner Bros. has really put alot of time and hard work into the Scooby Doo franchise over the past couple of years.

'Run For Your Rife!' features a brand new 22 minute special entitled: "Scooby Doo! and the Spooky Scarecrow", a Halloween themed episode about the gang going to a small farm town on the night of their Halloween fest and learning of the Spooky Scarecrow who plagues the cornfield due to a witch's curse. Sounds good, but also reminded me of the WNSD episode, "A Scooby Doo Halloween", but I'm sure they'll be noticably different. The DVD set also features 12 other classic SD episodes.

'Ruh Roh Robot!' (two weeks later) also feautures a brand new 22 minute special called: "Scooby Doo! and the Maniacal Mecha Mutt" and from the cover art, it looks as if the gang goes to some sort of Space Center where a giant robot dog begins to wreak the place. This DVD set is heavily set on the New Scooby Doo Mysteries 1984 series.

Both DVD sets are sure to be amazing. And my new plan for all future SD releases, including tomorrow's SDMI Season 2 Pt.2 'Spooky Stampede' release is to review them and give my personal thoughts and opinions and hopefully see how it relates to other people's opinions. *For the DTV movies, including Stage Fright!, I always wait for their release on Blu Ray/DVD before I watch them. I don't rent them from iTunes just because it makes the wait more fun, always anticipating that release date.* I'm excited to give my reviews on all the new SD DVD's coming out soon, and hopefully hear from all of you. HELLYEAH!!!

And p.s. I do have a life, believe it or not, I'm in a band...no one knows about this side of me lol.
