Warner Bros. Animation is a division of Warner Bros, and a subsidiary of Time Warner, and was formerly referred to as Leon Schlesinger Productions from 1930 to 1944, and Warner Bros. Cartoons from 1944 to 1963. The studio was founded in 1930, and is famous for producing the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies(including such stars as Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner) which began under the production of Harman and Ising at Schlesinger's unit. Since 1990, Warner Bros.
