Warner Premiere was the direct-to-video video label of Warner Home Video, the home video unit of Warner Bros. It launched in 2006, but was closed down in 2012, though titles continued to be released under the Warner Premiere name through 2013. The shutdown was due in part of the declining market for direct-in-video movies, despite subsequent films being produced. The label was notable for releasing prequels and sequels to Warner Bros.' theatrical features, such as The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning and Lost Boys: The Tribe, Another Cinderella Story, and Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove, as well as several DC Comics-inspired films, such as Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: New Frontier, and Wonder Woman.
