William Schallert was an American screen and voice actor, most famous for his role as Martin Lane on The Patty Duke Show. He also played Leander Pomfritt on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. From 1979-1981, he was president of the Screen Actors Guild.

Schallert died in 2016, at the age of 93.
